VCC General Work Permit

Facade repairs to remediate violations cited in case #19-10536-DBNVCC, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 04/11/2024, including stucco repairs, fire stair paint, vegetation removal, installation of matching black cladding stone, etc.

All VCC notes on drawings must be complied with. Submit sample of black stone facade material for VCC staff review and approval prior to purchase and installation.

All mortar to be mixed using the VCC recipe (attached) with a maximum of 1 part Portland Cement, to 3 parts lime, to 9 parts sand, and enough water to form a workable mix. Prepackaged mixes are not permitted. The resulting mix should range in color from off-white to beige but should not be grey or white in color. All stucco repairs to comply with VCC stucco handout, attached. Color, scoring pattern, etc. to match existing. Remove vegetation from masonry. Cut vegetation down and apply a weed and grass killer. Remove dead roots after 1-2 days. Install new VCC mortar (formula attached) as needed where deteriorated
