Renovation (Non-Structural) Permit

519 Toulouse Interior work: front staircase replace/repoint brick, repair and replace brick & stucco on 1st floor rear of building. Both properties: carpentry work: replace/repaint Windows, replace all broken window panes.Replace/repair missing copper downspouts. Remove all graffiti. Remove all Vegetation. Roofing 519 Toulouse:As per VCC approval. Roofing 515 Toulouse: replace missing ridge tiles, replace broken/missing slate tiles to match.
Work to address demolition by neglect and work without permit violations, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 02/23/2024.
Remove vegetation from masonry. Cut vegetation down and apply a weed and grass killer.
Remove dead roots after 1-2 days. Install new VCC mortar (formula attached) as needed where deteriorated.
To repoint masonry utilizing mortar mixed and applied per the VCC standard detail sheet (attached)
Any deteriorated, cracked, or broken bricks shall be replaced to match existing in color, size, material, porosity, detail, profile and exposure.
All reinstalled masonry must be properly "toothed in" to existing masonry wall, using VCC mortar formula (attached).

MORTAR IS NOT TO BE APPLIED OVER THE FACE OF THE BRICKS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
