HDLC Certificate of Appropriateness

This project consists of a restaurant renovation of the first floor of this existing historic three story load bearing masonry and heavy timber building.
The ground floor will be a reimagined Bon Ton Cafe restaurant with a new bar. All new kitchen equipment, bult-in seating and upgraded finishes throughout. The building will receive new sprinkler and fire alarm systems along with many life safety upgrades.
The second floor will house a new sprinkler pump room. A refurbished elevator will serve all three floors, however the second and third floors will remain unoccupied. Work performed on the upper floors is only ancillary to the restaurant.
