VCC General Work Permit

Repair roof damaged by Hurricane Ida, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 09/28/2022.
Replace approximately 75-100 composite roof tiles with natural slate.
Repair/replace terracotta ridge tiles as needed, to match existing. Reinstall existing ridge caps where possible.
Repair/replace valley gutters using modified bitumen.
Repair torch down roof system at parapets as needed to match existing. No metal cap flashing to be installed.
NOTE: NOFD Fire Prevention fire watch is required for rooftop hot work: contact Senior Inspector Raymond Washington at NOFD at rwashington@nola.gov or (504) 658-4779.
All work to match existing, with exception of roof tiles.

Note: Trash chutes are required for removal of debris from all roofs
 All work must conform to standard VCC policies & guidelines
 Permit does not allow for cap flashing on parapets, chimneys or surrounding walls
Torch-applied roofing is not permitted in the Vieux Carré. Repairs of existing torch down only.
