Demolition Permit
Demolish single family residence to grade. - We just recently received permits to begin work. Over the weekend my guys begin to remove all the damaged floor joist, damaged wood, and molded drywall. I was told as they proceeded to remove the drywall the wall begin to shift, the termite damage was beyond excessive. My guys proceeded to dispose of all the damage and was pretty much left with nothing but a frontal of the property. When this was bought to my attention upon arrival back from the Thanksgiving holiday I immediately contacted the Historic Landmark District to make them aware of the situation, clearly I knew we needed approval before proceeding any further, however my guys at the time thought the safe thing to do was to allow the walls to make a full collapse. The Landmark district instructed me to proceed with filing for a demolition permit anyway.Ref code 47G1MA
