Renovation (Non-Structural) Permit

Repair parapet wall located on the roof. Parapet wall dimensions 4ftwidth 25ft length 27in height. Remove existing deteriorated wood on Parapet wall Remove existing trim pieces on Parapet wall. Save trim pieces refurbishing trim and reinstalling. Replace all removed deteriorated wood with Douglas fir or cedar wood. Seal, prime and paint exterior of Parapet wall. Remove existing galvanized metal parapet wall cap. Replace with pre painted 24 gauge parapet wall cap. Remove existing galvanized metal back vertical wall flashing on parapet wall. Replace with 24 gauge pre-painted metal flashing. Parapet wall is located along front edge on the roof of the house. Caution tape and cones will be placed in front of house when repairs commence. A safety monitor will be on the ground watching for pedestrian traffic and will route pedestrians around Caution tape and cones.
