VCC General Work Permit

To address violations cited in case 21-08532-DBNVCC, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 11/09/2023:
Remove vegetation from masonry. Cut vegetation down and apply a weed and grass killer.
Remove dead roots after 1-2 days. Install new VCC mortar (formula attached) as needed where deteriorated
Repoint masonry utilizing mortar mixed and applied per the VCC standard detail sheet (attached)
Sound all existing stucco and remove delaminated material. Apply VCC formula stucco where missing and/or removed, according to VCC standard detail sheet (attached). Lath or adherents of any kind are prohibited unless preapproved by VCC staff prior to installation.
Replace cracked roof tiles as needed to match existing.
Replace six pairs of shutters to match existing in type, style, size, dimension, reveal, operation, attachment, profile, reveal, color, material and finish. Submit complete scaled and dimensioned shop drawings to VCC staff for final review and approval prior to fabrication and installation.
Replace two (2) unpermitted light fixtures on side elevation of main building with new NICOR 11522 double cylinder bullet fixtures, painted to match the adjacent surface to minimize visibility. All wiring shall be placed in conduits. All conduits shall be placed along the inside corners of building surfaces as much as possible, such as along gallery/balcony purlins at the deck line, and painted to match the adjacent surfaces.
