VCC General Work Permit

Per attached materials stamped VCC approved 10/27/2023:
Remove vegetation from masonry. Cut vegetation down and apply a weed and grass killer.
Remove dead roots after 1-2 days. Install new VCC mortar (formula attached) as needed where deteriorated
Install new 4” aluminum downspout on front elevation where missing. Paint to match adjacent surface to minimize visibility.
Repair steel valley gutter flashing and install counterflashing. Install Portland cement mortar cap with embedded mesh at parapets only.

Remove deteriorated floorboards, stringers, and fascia boards.
Install new 3"x4" beaded stringers, 5/4x4 T&G floorboards, and 7/8" fascia with ½" bead, all as per VCC Standard Detail Sheet No. 12 (attached).
