Renovation (Non-Structural) Permit

Trinity Episcopal Church and School is in the process of licensing a full-time faculty nursery located on the ground level, below our Church located at 1329 Jackson Ave. New Orleans, LA 70130. The school’s address is 1315 Jackson Ave. The space is currently being used as a Sunday Church nursery. We have completed a Plan Review process with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal (LASFM) this past June. Following the Plan Review, LASFM completed their final inspection of the space. I then proceeded to request a NOFD inspection, but Senior Inspector Washington advised that I need to obtain a certificate of occupancy from the Department of Safety and Permits. No construction or modification of the space is taking place. No exterior work under this permit.
