VCC General Work Permit

Work on front of main building and front elevation of rear dependency, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 08/11/2023 and in association with VCC paint permit no. 23-22568-VCPNT:
Repair/replace front alley gates and wood surround as needed, to match existing in material, size, profile, dimension, reveal, color, finish, attachment, and operation. NOTE: Gate header on 1015 side was altered without approval and should match the header on the 1017 side gate.Install new hinges and submit gate handle hardware to VCC staff for review and approval prior to purchase and installation.
Remove existing dependency rail and install new 36” tall handrail (detail no. 1) per VCC typical detail sheet no. 11. Bottom rail to be approximately 3” above decking (must be less than 4” for code purposes). Remove all blocking at bases of columns and install new trim per attached detail “A,” Column #1, per VCC typical detail sheet no. 11. Handrail and columns to be painted to match trim, Classical White 2829, semigloss.
Remove deteriorated floorboards, stringers, and fascia boards. Install new 3"x4" beaded stringers, 5/4x4 wood T&G floorboards, and 7/8" fascia with ½" bead, all as per VCC Standard Detail Sheet No. 12 (attached). (NOTE: 1x3 T&G boards proposed are not approvable.)
