VCC General Work Permit

Remove the existing front door unit and transom including the interior and exterior casing. Prep the existing door rough opening to receive the new door unit. Fabricate a new double door unit with single light doors with a wood panel below and without a transom above. The new door unit will include the jamb, interior and exterior casings, and tempered glass with wood stops. Prep, prime, and apply one coat of paint on all sides of the door unit before installation. Paint color to match existing. Install the new door unit, then caulk, putty, and apply the final coat of paint after the installation. The new doors and door jamb will have to be cut to fit the out of level floor/concrete and will have no threshold like the existing door unit. The new door unit will be made without a transom and will be made taller than the existing door unit so that the top of the jamb and casing of the new door unit lines up with the adjacent windows. Install the door hardware provided by the owner. Cut Sheet will be provided to VCC once selection has been made by Owner & prior to installation. Clean and haul all construction related debris from the site.
