Renovation (Structural) Permit

Government Offices - This application is for NOFD HQ phase 2 of 2. NOFD HQ phase 1 of 2 permit # 20-35459-RNVS. NOFD IS RELOCATING THEIR HEADQUARTERS OPERATIONS FROM DECATURE STREET TO THE MUNICIPAL TRAINING ACADEMY AT 401 CITY PARK AVENUE. THIS IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY, AND AN UPGRADE IN RISK CATEGORY FROM III TO IV IN ACCORDANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE. THE FACILITY WILL HAVE DUAL FUNCTIONS OF ADMINISTRATIVE AND 24 HOUR OPERATIONS. Phase 2 - Completes the renovation of the project to a complete and usable facility. Scope includes the removal an dreplacement of the roofing systems, structural steel additions, light guage framing installation, full HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, lighting and communications and data systems, stucco removal, replacement, repair and repainting, metal cladding installation, removal and replacement of all doors and windows, new interior partitions, finishes, ceilings and lighting, plumbing fixtures, and new landscaping/plantings. If subsurface excavation is required, environmental monitoring and industrial soils disposal may be required. Envioronmental remediation procedures are included in the appendix of the contract specifications. ALL WORK TO BE DONE AS PER PLANS.
