Remove and replace slate-gray shingles on roof with same and remove and replace half round gutters and downspouts with new half-round gutters and downspouts. Two layers of underlayment will be installed as is code. New flashing and drip edge will be installed. No aesthetic changes are being made. Shingles will have 6 nails each and rated for 130 mph winds (although they have withstood 150mph winds in testing). Existing metal roofing (currently rusted and developing holes) also to be replaced with 26gauge Galvalume metal roofing with an underlayment of ice and water shield.
