VCC General Work Permit

Per attached materials stamped VCC approved 06/13/2023, including:
Remove deteriorated floorboards, stringers, and fascia boards.
Install new 3"x4" beaded stringers, 5/4x4 T&G floorboards, and 7/8" fascia with ½" bead, all as per VCC Standard Detail Sheet No. 12 (attached).
Retroactive approval to retain eight (8) pairs of shutters on main building and service ell. NOTE: Staff was not able to confirm that they matched the previous conditions exactly.
Rebuild one section of rear balcony railings to match those adjacent. NOTE: existing inappropriate rail is prescribed. Staff recommends historically appropriate replacement in future.
Repaint all work to match previous color and finish.
Remove tiled steps at rear and install new St. Joe brick steps per attached sheet no. 18

NOTE: current rear plate glass window is work without permit violation. Replacement window to be handled under separate, future permit. An approved alternative has not yet been submitted for review and permit.

All repair/replacement work shall match existing in color, size, material, detail, profile and exposure

NOTE: Permit issued in response to violations. Work shall commence no less than 30 days after permit is issued. Work must be completed no less than 60 days after work begins. Owner will call VCC for final inspection upon completion of work.
