VCC General Work Permit

To make repairs to existing natural slate roof as per materials stamped VCC approved 03/21/2023. Work includes:
• Installing new galvanized end-wall flashing to match existing (where existing galvanized flashing is present)
• Installing new copper flashing to match existing (where existing copper flashing is present)
NOTE: Care to be taken to avoid galvanic reactions of these two metals. Use of all copper flashing approved if determined to be needed during the work.
• Installing/repairing new copper half round gutters and downspouts to match existing
• Replacing any cracked, broken, or missing natural slate shingles with new natural slate shingles that match existing in color, size, material, detail, profile and exposure. All replacement shingles to be installed with copper nails
NOTE: Any cap flashing to be reviewed separately. No cap flashing approved under this permit.
