VCC General Work Permit

Masonry tuckpointing, window repair, caulking and paint, and facade cleaning, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 03/10/2023.

NOTE: PROSOCO WATER REPELLANT NOT APPROVED AS OF 3/10/23, REQUIRES COMMITTEE REVIEW AND APPROVAL PRIOR TO APPLICATION.

SEALANT APPROVED AT WINDOWS, MUST USE MORTAR AT PARAPET CAP

All mortar to be mixed using the VCC recipe (attached) with a maximum of 1 part Portland Cement, to 3 parts lime, to 9 parts sand, and enough water to form a workable mix. Prepackaged mixes are not permitted. The resulting mix should range in color from off-white to beige but should not be grey in color.

MORTAR IS NOT TO BE APPLIED OVER THE FACE OF THE BRICKS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Doing so will result in a STOP WORK ORDER being placed on the property and violation case will be opened on the property.
