VCC General Work Permit

Exterior work in conjunction with renovation, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 10/05/2026:
• Install new 2’-0” x 3’-0” stained glass window on Bourbon-side elevation of second floor non-historic camelback, to resemble those existing on Gov. Nicholls elevation of camelback. All head/jamb/sill details to match existing.
• Remove concrete from Bourbon-side alley and install new brick pavers in herringbone pattern to match Dauphine-side alley, set with permeable grout on 4” sand bed over fabric liner and 6” crushed limestone.
• Repair masonry and stucco at front Gov. Nicholls-side chain wall, using VCC formulas per attachment. All mortar to be mixed using the VCC recipe (attached) with a maximum of 1 part Portland Cement, to 3 parts lime, to 9 parts sand, and enough water to form a workable mix. Prepackaged mixes are NOT permitted. The resulting mix should range in color from off-white to beige but should not be grey or white in color.

NOTE: Decorative light fixtures at rear elevation denied by Architecture Committee on 07/14/2026. Existing lighting under soffit vents to remain.
