Description of work
All work to be carried out by homeowners and trusted friends with construction experience. Additional insurance will be taken out to cover this project.
Most of the project will be repairing work that was done on a 2014 renovation of the property that was approved by the city and the historic district.
Part 1
Wood siding on the West wall of the house needs to be replaced due to deterioration. Replacement material will consist of plywood, Tyvek house wrap and finally Hardy plank which will be matched in color and style to the other walls of the house. The West side of the house is currently the only side with wood plank siding. This replacement would be edge to edge and eliminate all wood plank siding from the home. There are no windows or doors on this side of the building. There will be no other structural changes.

Part 2
At various points around the exterior of the building there are portions of wood trim and millwork which have started to decay due to extreme weather and age. These elements will be replaced with matching pressure treated wood and color matched to the rest of the home.
