VCC General Work Permit

To renovate main building and perform masonry repairs throughout property as per materials stamped VCC approved 09/17/2026. Work includes:
• Replacement of an unpermitted window on the ground floor of the Conti St. elevation with a new Spanish cedar six over six true divided lite window
• Installation of a kitchen exhaust vent through the wall of the Dauphine elevation at a height below the second floor. Vent cover to be painted to match adjacent masonry
• Installation of two new vents on the Dauphine facing roof slope. Vents not to exceed 4” in diameter
• Preparing masonry for repointing including cleaning, removing vegetation, and removing deteriorated mortar
• Repointing masonry utilizing mortar mixed and applied per the VCC standard detail sheet (attached)
• Any deteriorated, cracked, or broken bricks shall be replaced to match existing in color, size, material, porosity, detail, profile and exposure.
• All reinstalled masonry must be properly "toothed in" to existing masonry wall, using VCC mortar formula (attached).

VOIDS IN THE BRICK ARE NOT TO BE FILLED WITH MORTAR. BROKEN, DETERIORATED BRICKS MUST BE REPLACED WITH BRICKS MATCHING THE PREVIOUS.

NOTE: Proposed application of Prosoco H40 to be reviewed and permitted separately.
