VCC General Work Permit

MAIN ROOF ONLY
to remove exisitng hip and ridge tiles and stack for reuse
remove and replace dekcing
install high hieat ice and water shield
to supply and install all jacks and lead plumbing stacks, in same location
install new TPO internal gutter system
insall 4 chimney flashings in TPO
terminate TPO membrane on vertical walls an dinstall term bar and counter flashing. Mortar cap to be installed later by different contractor.
fabricate and install copper drip edges, metal valleys, counter flashing, and apron flashing.
install new North Country Slate tiles 12"x18" black in color with copper nails
install old V-Tile on hip and ridge
Metal cap-flashing on parapets or chimneys is not allowed
Rubber mastic and liquid applied waterproofing/sealants are not allowed on parapet walls or parapet caps unless explicitly permitted
Note: Trash chutes are required for removal of debris from all roofs. All work must conform to standard VCC policies & guidelines. Permit does not allow for cap flashing on parapets, chimneys or surrounding walls. Torch-applied roofing is not permitted in the Vieux Carré.
