VCC General Work Permit

Repairs at Bienville-side courtyard and Orange rated service building per attached materials stamped VCC approved 02/22/2023:
Replace deckboards at stair landings with 5/4x4 treated pine T&G floorboards. Replace risers with treated pine and replace treads with 2x12 treated pine boards with 1” rounded nosing.
Replace bottom handrail at stair and second floor with beaded bottom rail to match “hand rail no. 1” on typical detail sheet no. 11. Installation of unmilled lumber is not allowed.
Under stair, install new board and batten double doors with 6” wide treated pine beaded t&g per attached detail sheet, painted French Quarter Green, semigloss. Wall boards to be ½” thick 6” wide treated pine bead board, painted white, semigloss. All reveals at trim, stringers, etc. to match previously existing.
Replace dislodged floor tile at second floor balcony to match existing.
Recaulk around glass at bottom of window frame as needed.
Replace bottom, unturned portion of second floor columns to match existing in size, material, profile, dimension, and reveal.
Paint handrails, columns, stair risers, and wall under stairs white, semigloss. Paint new board and batten doors French Quarter Green, semigloss. Paint stair treads and landings medium gray, semigloss.
NOTE: This permit is to resolve a violation concerning work begun without a permit for which a STOP WORK ORDER was issued, including demolition of previous under stair enclosure and double doors. No installation of T1-11 is per
