VCC General Work Permit

To make repairs to the building and correct violations as per materials stamped VCC approved 06/25/2026. Work includes:
• Removal and replacement of the gallery decking with new wood, tongue and groove decking to match existing. Decking to be painted to match existing color and sheen
• Installation of metal flashing where missing between the wall and overhang on the Chartres elevation of the main building to match existing adjacent flashing
• Repair/replacement of wood elements of and around the primary entrance door to match existing. Install missing piece of ironwork in door. Paint all wood elements to match existing color and sheen
• Install piece of downspout where missing on the Chartres elevation of the main building
• Replacement of deteriorated wood elements found at rear alleyway gate

NOTE: Permit issued in response to violations but does not address all existing Vieux Carré Commission violations. Additional application(s) need to be submitted within sixty (60) days to address remaining violations. Failure to do so may result in this property being scheduled for an administrative adjudication hearing and subject to fines. Work under this permit shall commence within 30 days from the date of permit issuance. Work must be completed no more than 60 days after work begins. Owner will call VCC for final inspection upon completion of work. Penalty fees may apply because of improper or unauthorized work.
