VCC General Work Permit

Repairs at rear wall of main building per attached materials stamped VCC approved 05/26/2026, including masonry work, reconstruction of second floor fan-light masonry arch and replacement of millwork as noted.
Repoint masonry utilizing mortar mixed and applied per the VCC standard detail sheet (attached)
Any deteriorated, cracked, or broken bricks shall be replaced to match existing in color, size, material, porosity, detail, profile and exposure. All reinstalled masonry must be properly "toothed in" to existing masonry wall, using VCC mortar formula (attached).
Remove second and third floor millwork from rear elevation where necessary for shoring and masonry work. Millwork must not be demolished or discarded and must be retained on site for final inspection. Reinstall existing millwork where possible. Replacement millwork requires the submittal of full shop drawings for review and approval prior to fabrication and installation.
