The Iris Motel project proposes exterior improvements and a small accessory building addition to enhance the guest experience and expand the property’s hospitality offerings. The work focuses on transforming a portion of the existing pool deck and parking lot into an inviting outdoor gathering space featuring a new bar, kitchen, and landscaped patio.

The project includes the renovation of approximately 1,000 square feet of existing site area, including extension of the existing outdoor pool deck and a portion of the existing parking lot. The design scope provides for an approximately 500-square-foot accessory building containing a bar and kitchen, a partially covered outdoor patio, and new restrooms. Site upgrades include selective demolition, PERMEABLE PAVING, landscape planting, AND NEW SITE lighting. Seven existing parking spaces will be retained to satisfy minimum parking requirements per the New Orleans Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance (CZO).
