CHIMNEY REPAIR
- Remove & dispose of existing chimney flashing around (1) chimney.
- Temporarily remove existing slate roof tiles 4 feet around each side of the chimney.
- Temporarily remove epdm tile interlayment 4 feet around each side of the chimney.
- Remove & dispose of underlayment 4 feet around each side of chimney to original wood deck.
- S & I high temp ice & water shield peel & stick membrane 4' around each side of the chimney.
- S & I custom fabricated 26 Ga. galvanized chimney flashing & counter flashing.
- Re-install existing epdm interlayment around chimney.
- Re-install existing slate roof tiles around chimney.
ROOF REPAIR
- Remove & replace up to (5) damaged or missing slate tiles throughout the roof.
- S & I weather tight neoprene washer screws along all loose counter & parapet cap flashing.
- Temporarily remove slate tiles around (2) back vent locations.
- S & I high temp ice & water shield peel & stick membrane around (2) back vent locations.
- Temporarily remove bottom (2) slate tiles at the back corners of the roof.
- Inspect these 2 locations for possible leaks/failed flashing.
- S & I kick-out flashing at these 2 locations to properly allow for water to divert into the gutter.
to fabricate and install 2 new copper "spitters" on existing rear gutter
