VCC General Work Permit

Repairs at St. Ann side of main building roof and parapet, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 04/16/2026, including:
Remove only delaminated roof coating where possible on St. Ann parapet wall and chimneys. Do not force removal of firmly attached coating.
Remove/replace slate tiles along St. Ann parapet, to match existing in size, profile, reveal, color and attachment.
Clean chimneys with light water wash. No PSI over 200. Remove loose mortar on chimneys and apply new mortar per VCC mortar handout (attached). No prepackaged mixes are allowed.
Install new copper step and counterflashing at walls and base of chimneys. No modification to existing chimney caps.
Install poly-fleece embedded in Alsan liquid flashing to top of parapet wall (alternate detail due to the existing presence of asphaltic coating, approved by Committee as a test case on 02/10/2026)
