VCC General Work Permit

To repair/replace various rotten wood elements to match existing, per materials stamped VCC approved 03/25/2026. Work includes:
• Repair/replacement of wooden stairs and wood tongue and groove stair landings
• Replacement of wood lattice screening under exterior stairs
• Replacement of balcony and stair railing spindles with new matching wood spindles
• Minor repair and painting of shutters to match existing
• Painting of exterior stairs, landings, trim, doors, and shutters to match existing colors and sheens

NOTE: The building features several shutters that are missing or in need of more extensive repair. A separate application to repair/replace these damaged or missing shutters to be filed within 60 days of the issuance of this permit

NOTE: This permit is to resolve a violation concerning work begun without a permit for which a STOP WORK ORDER was issued. Work shall commence no more than 30 days after permit is issued. Work must be completed no more than 60 days after work begins. Owner will call VCC for final inspection upon completion of work.
