To correct staff approvable violations as per materials stamped VCC approved 01/27/2023. Work includes:Ref code LK8EEN
• Repair existing synthetic slate roof to match existing
• Repair/replace balcony elements including deteriorated/missing decking and fascia to match existing
• Repair/replace operable louvered shutters. Shutters previously modified for window AC units to be restored to full size of the opening
• Remove all window AC units
• Install two (2) NORA 4” SURF Round LED surface mounted fixtures with one above each ground floor opening. All fixtures to use lamps with the following criteria: 3000K color temperature, 80+ color rendering index, and 600-800 lumens per bulb. Any new decorative fixtures to be permitted separately.
• Repair/repoint existing stucco/masonry as per VCC standard details (attached). No currently exposed masonry to be stuccoed.
NOTE: Permit issued in response to violations but does not address all existing Vieux Carré Commission violations. Additional application(s) need to be submitted within sixty (60) days to address remaining violations. Failure to do so may result in this property being scheduled for an administrative adjudication hearing and subject to fines. Work under this permit shall commence within 30 days from the date of permit issuance. Work must be completed no more than 60 days after work begins. Owner will call VCC for final inspection upon completion of work. Penalty fees may apply because of improper or unauthorized work.
