VCC General Work Permit

remove existing roofing material
replace damaged decking where necessary
insall storm gaurd membrane
install new semi weathering Vermont slate (gray/ green) per manufacturer's specifications with copper nails
install new 16oz copper step, apron and counter flashing around chimney
install new jack and caps, same locaiton
install new 16oz copper drip edge
reinstll existing terra cotta tiles, replace if necessary to match existing
haul away debris
Metal cap-flashing on the parapets or chimneys is not allowed
Note: Trash chutes are required for removal of debris from all roofs. All work must conform to standard VCC policies & guidelines. Permit does not allow for cap flashing on parapets, chimneys or surrounding walls. Torch-applied roofing is not permitted in the Vieux Carré.

All repair/replacement work shall match existing in color, size, material, detail, profile and exposure.
