VCC General Work Permit

To make repairs to building as per materials received 02/13/2026. Work includes:
• Remove existing wood decking from the balcony of the rear building
• Repair/replace wood outriggers with new painted cypress 3x8 outriggers with beaded bottom faces, to match existing
• Install new wood tongue and groove decking to match existing with the decking installed perpendicular to the building walls
• Make repairs to the roofs of the main building and rear building including the installation of new copper flashing, replacement of any broken or missing slates with new matching slates, and installing copper apron flashing below the dormer windows
• Repair the masonry on the Chartres elevation of the main building including removing parge stucco/excess mortar from the face of the bricks, repointing as per VCC standard details (attached), and creating a built up mortar slope/bevel at existing brick ledge in order to shed water
