Renovation (Non-Structural) Permit

This permit includes a limited Level 2 alteration within an existing, fully sprinklered, non-separated historic industrial building. Work is confined to approximately 1,400 square feet and consists of targeted exterior envelope repairs, restoration of historic steel windows, and installation of new doors along a shared courtyard. The scope also includes improvements to common circulation and accessibility, including new landings, stairs, an ADA-compliant ramp, and upgrades to shared restrooms. Additive egress improvements are provided through new exit access doors to an open-air egress court that discharges directly to the public way, reducing travel distances without changing occupancy, occupant load, or use. No expansion of building area, no change of use, and no modification to primary life-safety systems are proposed. Future tenant-specific improvements will be permitted separately.
