VCC General Work Permit

Repair corner of Blue rated building and balcony damaged by vehicular impact, per 1/10/2023 Committee approval and attached materials stamped VCC approved 01/10/2023.
All work to match existing in material, size, profile, dimension, reveal, function, finish, attachment, color, porosity, composition, exposure, and detail, except as explictly noted in the plans. Masonry, mortar and stucco to be mixed and installed per the VCC typical detail sheet, attached.
Remove deteriorated floor boards, stringers, and fascia boards.
Install new 3"x4" beaded stringers, 5/4x4 wood T&G floorboards, and 7/8" fascia with ½" bead, all as per VCC Standard Detail Sheet No. 12 (attached).
Paint all new elements to match existing in color and finish.

NOTE: New outrigger to be galvanized metal. Attachment to historic rail above to be "faux" post that does not touch the new metal installed below the decking, in order to avoid galvanic corrosion.
