VCC General Work Permit

Repair masonry at front parapet per attached materials stamped VCC approved 01/19/2023.
Sound plaster and remove delaminated materials as needed. Stucco bands at parapet must be maintained in profile, size, dimension, and reveal.
Mortar cap at top of parapet to be repaired as needed using Portland cement. Metal parapet caps are prohibited.
Repoint masonry utilizing mortar mixed and applied per the VCC standard detail sheet (attached).
Any deteriorated, cracked, or broken bricks shall be replaced to match existing in color, size, material, porosity, detail, profile and exposure.
All mortar to be mixed using the VCC recipe (attached) with a maximum of 1 part Portland Cement, to 3 parts lime, to 9 parts sand, and enough water to form a workable mix. Prepackaged mixes are not permitted. The resulting mix should range in color from off-white to beige but should not be grey in color.
Paint stucco to match existing color and finish.
Paint PVC pipe on roof black or gray as indicated on stamped materials to reduce visibility.

NOTE: Pressure washing must not exceed 400 PSI. No metal cap flashing is permitted.
