HDLC Certificate of Appropriateness

The new structure will be an open-air gazebo. There will be no mechanical, electrical, or plumbing services brought to the new structure. There will be free ingress/egress and the finish elevation of the new slab will be flush with the adjacent grade. Because there is no plumbing, the requirement to submit a riser diagram to SWBNO is not applicable. Also, because there are no restrictions on ingress or egress nor life safety provisions, we feel that a SFM review is also not applicable. The purpose of this structure is for educational exhibition programs as part of the exterior gardens. Finally, because this is an accessory structure, we are assuming that an amendment to the plans previously approved by the City Planning Commission is not required.
