HDLC Certificate of Appropriateness

The work includes removal of the existing asphalt shingles, underlayment, metal drip edge, and all pipe boots on the asphalt shingle facets, followed by the repair and securement of any damaged decking. New synthetic underlayment, metal drip edge, and accessories will be installed, along with new 35-year asphalt shingles using six nails per shingle, all in accordance with Fortified Specifications. On the slate facets, all existing slate shingles on the mansard roof areas will be removed. Damaged decking will be repaired and secured, and new synthetic underlayment, metal drip edge, and accessories will be installed. New slate shingles will then be provided and installed, with all work completed per Fortified Specifications.
