VCC General Work Permit

MAIN ROOF AND DEPENDENCY
Remove existing roofing material
remove all unsued flashings and vent stacks except hood vent. HOOD VENT IS NOT TO BE MOVED OR REPLACED
Repair and/or replace underlayment as necessary
Install new 12” x 18” natural slate (grey/green), using copper nails
APPLY 1" ISO board in valley gutter
install TPO over ISO board
reframe roof access hole and cover, NOT TO CHANGE IN SIZE
install galvanized step flashing, apron flashing and drip edge
GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS TO REMAIN
Install/reinstall ceramic or concrete V-style or terra cotta ridge tiles.
Metal cap-flashing on the parapets or chimneys is not allowed


Note: Trash chutes are required for removal of debris from all roofs. All work must conform to standard VCC policies & guidelines. Permit does not allow for cap flashing on parapets, chimneys or surrounding walls. Torch-applied roofing is not permitted in the Vieux Carré.
