VCC General Work Permit

To repair/reconstruct the masonry wall of the Decatur elevation of the main building as per Architecture Committee approval of 08/09/2022 and materials stamped VCC approved 01/04/2023. Work includes:
• Removal of masonry above top of second floor windows and portion adjacent to the neighboring 917 Decatur building
• Reconstruction of all removed masonry with salvaged or exactly matching masonry and VCC mortar
• Reconstruction of existing stucco cornice to exactly match existing
• Installation of new steel lintels. NOTE: Existing slip head window pockets to be maintained within the masonry wall above the windows
• Once all masonry repairs are complete, wall to be stuccoed to match as per VCC standard details to match previously existing conditions
