VCC General Work Permit

To demolish existing garage structure and construct a new garage structure in the same footprint, per Architecture Committee approval of 04/22/2025, Vieux Carre Commission approval of 05/14/2025, and materials stamped VCC approved 07/03/2025. Work includes:
• Complete removal of walls and roof of existing corrugated metal structure
• Construction of new stuccoed CMU structure featuring a beaded wood garage door on the Bourbon St. elevation and an aluminum and glass folding door on the Barracks St. elevation.
• Relocating existing HVAC condensers from within the existing structure to the roof of the new structure, located at the Royal St. end of the roof
• New structure to feature a total of four new Remcraft 200 series light fixtures. All fixtures shall use lamps with the following criteria: 3000K color temperature, 80+ color rendering index, and 600-800 lumens per bulb
• All exterior painting to be permitted separately
