Renovation (Structural) Permit

LDI GRANT - FORTIFIED BASE LA 1. Remove, Haul, Tear - Off & Dispose of 1 Layer of Existing Roof.
2. Nail the existing roof deck with 8d ring-shank nails at 4 in. o.c. per F-RR-3.
3. Install Ice & Water Barrier on entire roof.
4. Install new Fortified drip edge:
Eave drip edges shall extend 1 2 in. below sheathing and extend back on the roof a minimum of 2 in.
The drip edge shall be mechanically fastened to the roof deck at maximum of 4 in.
5. Double-Sided Starter Shingle, Enhances edge protection and improves wind resistance for a secure
roof installation.
6. Owens Corning™ DURATION® Series Shingles
7. Owens Corning™PROEDGE® Hip & Ridge Shingles
8. Install Ventilation as per ventilation analysis
9. Install Bullet Boots as needed
10. Apply Caulk to All Flashings to Seal Properly and Avoid Corrosion
-Seal Gable Vents
-Skylights (flashing kit included)will not be replaced
-Install Eave Vents (as per ventilation analysis)
