VCC General Work Permit

Remove existing roofing material
replace underlayment as necessary
Install new 18” x12” natural slate (unfading gray), using copper nails
Install/repair half round copper gutters and flashing
install new copper drip edge, apron flashing, dormer flashing, wall falashing, ocunter flashing, valley and step flashing
install new joval jack and caps as needed in same locaiton
install new lead vents were needed in same locations
Install/reinstall HECKER V-style ridge tiles. Replace broken tiles as needed, to match existing.
install new large front parapet inlay gutters to match existing, in same location
install new custom through wall scupper, side elevation only
remove existing gutters
install 2 new copper leader heads, side elevation
insall new 1/2 round downspouts to match existing
Metal cap-flashing on the parapets or chimneys is not allowed

Note: Trash chutes are required for removal of debris from all roof. All work must conform to standard VCC policies & guidelines. Permit does not allow for cap flashing on parapets, chimneys or surrounding walls. Torch-applied roofing is not permitted in the Vieux Carré.
