VCC General Work Permit

remove existing roofing
remove and replace jacks and vents, all in same location
remove one layer of felt
install new copper drip edge
install new flashing
insatll ice and water shield on entire roof
install READY SLATE shingles per manufacturer's specifications
reinstall existing terra cotta ridge caps or realce with new to match existig

Metal cap-flashing on the parapets or chimneys is not allowed
Note: Trash chutes are required for removal of debris from all roofs..All work must conform to standard VCC policies & guidelines. Permit does not allow for cap flashing on parapets, chimneys or surrounding walls. Torch-applied roofing is not permitted in the Vieux Carré.

All repair/replacement work shall match existing in color, size, material, detail, profile and exposure.
