Storage shed measuring 10' x 20', constructed on top of existing concrete slab. Shed will be constructed of 2 x 8 pt floor joists @ 16" o.c. w/ double pressure treated 2 x 10 band around perimeter of joists. Joist connections to perimeter band on each end are enhanced w/ Simpson joist connectors. Floor constructed of 3/4-in 4-ft x 8-ft tongue & groove plywood sheets screwed @ 4-in o.c. into floor joists. Wall construction will be typical 2 x 4 construction, 9-ft high walls, w/ 2 x 4 studs spaced at 16-in o.c., w/ a bottom plate and double top plate. Exterior of walls will receive 1/2" x 4-ft x 8-ft plywood or Zip board, covered with building wrap, & Hardie or similar cementitious siding with 6-inch exposure, routed horizontally. The rear and side walls will not have windows or doors. The front wall, which is 20-ft in length, will have one typical 3'-0" x 6'-8" right-handed, inswing entrance door center of the wall & one window to each side of the entrance door. Wood steps will be furnished to the front door. The total rise of the wood steps will be under 30-in and therefore no handrails are required on the steps. The roof structure will be wood-framed with a monoslope roof with a 4:12 pitch. The roof decking will be comprised of 1/2-inch plywood nailed to the roof rafters at 4-inches o.c. The roof decking will be covered with underlayment in accordance with applicable IRC (International Residential Code). Structure attached to foundation per drawings.
