HDLC Certificate of Appropriateness

This permit is for the installation of two natural gas lanterns to replace ceiling fans on the front porch of our home (see photos). The gas lanterns will each be single candelabra 21" tall x 12" wide. We will use the French Quarter lantern design on a classic yoke in black bronze (see the attached quote with photo of lanterns). Total height of each of the entire lanterns on the yoke will be 39" (see the photo and quote from New Orleans Gas & Electric Light Company). The lanterns will have the same drop length as the ceiling fans that are currently in place. The ceiling fans will be removed and the lamps installed in the same location, equally placed between each set of pillars, with the same drop length.
