VCC General Work Permit

To renovate building and correct violations as per Architecture Committee approval of 06/11/2024 and materials stamped VCC approved 07/24/2024. Work includes:
• Repairing doors/windows/shutters to match existing
• Replacing shutters where missing with new shutters that exactly match the existing adjacent shutters
• On the second floor of the Decatur elevation, remove unpermitted door and install new wood double hung window to match existing adjacent window
• Any tiebacks that had previously been painted white are to be painted a brick-like color to blend in with the masonry wall
• Masonry to be repaired and repointed as per VCC standard details (attached)
• Select lintels to be modified as per plans
No exposed natural brick to be painted.

NOTE: Permit issued in response to violations. Work shall commence within 30 days from the date of permit issuance. Work must be completed no more than 60 days after work begins. Owner will call VCC for final inspection upon completion of work. Penalty fees may apply because of improper or unauthorized work.
