Renovation (Structural) Permit

This application is a requested resubmission to replace for Ref Code: MRD3SZ, which was not properly processed by the system upon submission. Contractor Info: Spectrum Roofing and Renovations, LLC. LA License 566385. Replace roof with new 30 year shingles (IKO CAMBRIDGE DUAL GREY), new synthetic felt underlayment, starter shingles around the perimeter, new pipe boots, ice/water shield, and new drip edge around perimeter. Existing ridge tiles will be preserved, repaired, and properly reinstalled. Existing turbines will be removed and replaced with low-profile power vents. Additional structural work will be needed during roof replacement including reframing of rear lower roof section for proper alignment, flashing and vent exhaust installation and alleyway soffit enhancement. Reframing involves this section to be fitted with 2x8 trusses and 5/8” plywood, and 2 posts for additional support to replace the current 2x4 and bargeboard framing that has deteriorated, warped and sagged. Soffit enhancement on alley side of house to mitigate and prevent future water damage : 3 step-fascia on left side of house with approximately 65 linear ft of each size (2x12, 2x8 and 2x4) to extend the roofline 4" beyond siding.
