VCC General Work Permit

To begin renovations of the building as per materials stamped VCC approved 06/01/18. Work includes:
Removal of damaged plaster, inappropriate conduit, mechanical ductwork, and emergency ladder and access door
NOTE: No existing windows/doors/shutters to be removed at this time
Replace all deteriorated deck boards, fascia, ceilings, columns, and guardrails on balconies of rear service wing
Repair any broken glass on door and windows on main building and rear service building
Repair all cracks and holes in the stucco on front, side, and rear elevation using VCC standard detail sheet (attached)
Prime all stucco, doors, windows, balcony elements, etc.
NOTE: Painting to be permitted separately

All repair/replacement work shall match existing in color, size, material, detail, profile and exposure. Failure to exactly match materials, details, profiles, exposures, or VCC mortar as specified in permit will result in a VCC violation and mandated repair of improper work.

NOTE: Permit issued in response to violations. Work shall commence within 30 days from the date of permit issuance. Work must be completed no more than 60 days after work begins. Owner will call VCC for final inspection upon completion of work. Penalty fees may apply because of improper or unauthorized work.
