VCC General Work Permit

To abate violations cited in VCC case #21-08600-VCCNOP, per attached materials stamped VCC approved 06/14/2024:
Remove vegetation from masonry. Cut vegetation down and apply a weed and grass killer. Remove dead roots after 1-2 days. Install new VCC mortar (formula attached) as needed where deteriorated
Repair deteriorated millwork as needed to match existing in material, size, dimension, color, reveal, exposure, operation, profile, detail, and attachment. Contact VCC staff if replacement is needed.
Install new louvered shutters with strap hinges to match existing, as per plans.
Remove wiring, conduit and light fixtures. Install new Remcraft 110 series lights at the underside of the balcony/gallery, centered over the window/door openings. Fixtures shall be painted or prefinished to match adjacent building surface. All wiring shall be placed in conduits. All conduits shall be placed along the inside corners of building surfaces as much as possible, such as along gallery/balcony purlins at the deck line, and painted to match the adjacent surfaces. All fixtures shall use lamps with the following criteria: 3000K color temperature, 80+ color rendering index, and 800-1200 ;umens per bulb.
Paint as needed to match existing colors and finishes. Do not paint exposed brick.
