VCC General Work Permit

To demolish portion of garden wall and reconstruct wall with new concrete foundation and CMU core, per Architecture Committee approval of 06/11/2024 and materials stamped VCC approved 06/13/2024. Work includes:
• Demolition of approximately 33’ of the existing masonry fence
• Salvaging the existing masonry to the greatest extent possible
• Pouring a new 3’ wide concrete grade beam
• Constructing a new 8’4” high CMU wall to be clad in salvaged bricks on both sides and top
• Incorporating faux header bricks to match the pattern of header bricks seen in the existing wall
• VCC mortar mix (attached) to be utilized between all salvaged bricks
