2017 Winner of NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest, New Orleans-centered artists Tank and the Bangas are known for their vibrant sound and animated style of performance. Drawing from a wide array of musical and personal inspirations, Tarriona ‘Tank’ Ball and her band represent an evolution in the sound of New Orleans in their unique fusion of familiar genres, such as funk, soul, hip-hop, and spoken word.
